Support Coaching at all 1 and 2 * 3DE in Great Britain
A new initiative was launched by the British Eventing Coaching Development Team in 2009 to provide top quality coaching at all 1 and 2 * 3DE in Great Britain including Chepstow, Houghton Hall, Burgie, Hartpury, Blair Castle, Weston Park and Aldon. At least one member of the CDT is always on hand from the briefing and throughout the event to provide help for all competitors warming up for the dressage and show jumping, walking cross country and show jumping courses and for welfare, technical and general advice.
This coaching is available totally free of charge for any competitors who register with the CDT one week before the briefing at the event.

Safety and Performance Workshops
Join the Coaching Development Team for their safety and performance training days.
The indoor coaching days have practical and theoretical aspects; including course walks, understanding course design and increasing rider awareness through safety education and responsibility. They also cover rider fitness, balance and position including the use of DVD rider analysis. The riding section concentrates on improving technique including pace and rhythm to curving lines and accuracy fences i.e. corners, arrowheads and angled rails.
The outdoor coaching days concentrate on course walking, speed training and practical cross country riding.
The indoor days include a proportion of theory and planning that is not available on the outdoor days.
